Professor for Vocational Education at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT)
After his studies of environmental engineering at the BTU Cottbus, Prof. Dr. Lars Windelband first worked as a research assistant and project manager at the University of Flensburg at Berufsbildungsinstitut Arbeit und Technik (biat). In the following years, he worked at other universities, for example, he was deputy department head at the Institute of Technology and Education (ITB) at the University of Bremen and took over a substitute professorship for technical education and its didactics at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg.
From 2013 to mid-2022, Lars Windelband was Professor of Technology and its Didactics at the University of Education Schwäbisch Gmünd. In July 2022, he moved to the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), where he teaches in the field of vocational education.
