Researcher at ISF Munich and Head of the Research Unit for Socioeconomics of Work and Occupation at the University of Augsburg

 

Prof. Dr. Fritz Böhle works at ISF Munich (Institute for Social Science Research) as a researcher.

In addition to his research work at ISF, Prof. Dr. Fritz Böhle has also headed the Research Institute for Socio-Economics of the World of Work and Occupation at the University of Augsburg since 2009, where he also taught as a professor until 2008.

His research focuses include the following topics: Experiential Knowledge and Subjectivising Action, New Requirements for Dealing with Uncertainty and Complexity, Services and Interaction Work, Vocational Education and Learning in Work, Cooperation and Self-Organisation, and Risks of Societal Rationalisation and Scientification.

He studied sociology in conjunction with economics and psychology in Munich and was also chairman of the board of ISF München e.V. from 1998 to 2019.
