Prof. Dr. Andreas Diettrich has been teaching business and start-up education at the University of Rostock for more than 12 years.
After studying economics and vocational education at the University of Hanover, Diettrich first worked as a research assistant at the Institut für Arbeitswissenschaft (Institute of Labor Studies) at the Ruhr University in Bochum and at the Chair of Business Education at the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena. Subsequently, from 2006-2010, he headed the “Model Trials, Innovation and Transfer” department at the Bundesinstitut für Berufsbildung (BIBB). In addition, he was involved in the implementation of a large number of research and development projects as well as accompanying scientific studies.
Since 1991, Diettrich has been working as a trainer and lecturer in vocational education and training and has accepted teaching assignments and chair substitutions at various universities.
His work and research focuses include continuing vocational education and training, the modernization and internationalization of the vocational education and training system, and the professionalization of educational personnel.
Prof. Dr. Diettrich has been a member of the advisory board of the IFBB since January 2021.
