Dr. Regina Flake has been working for the Institute of the German Economy for more than nine years in the thematic cluster Vocational Qualification and Skilled Workers, where she is Senior Economist for initial and continuing education and training, securing skilled workers and international vocational training research.<\/p>\r\n

In addition, Dr. Regina Flake is a team leader in the Kompetenzzentrum Fachkr\u00e4ftesicherung (KOFA) project funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. There she is responsible for the areas of empirics, digitalisation and digital education, among others.<\/p>\r\n

She studied International Economics at the Universities of G\u00f6ttingen, Fontainebleau (France) and Puebla (Mexico) and completed her PhD at the Ruhr Graduate School in Essen.<\/p>\r\n
